Aufgabe
name one prevalant problem that the APT concept had in addition to CAPM??

Servus ,

könnte mir jemand bitte sagen, welches das zusätzliche Problem beim APT im Vergleich zum CAPM ist? oder welche es so gibt?
Konnte mir bisher durch das Internet leider nicht weiterhelfen.

Danke Josef,

aber ist das jetzt ein zusätzliches Problem des APT im Gegensatz zum  CAPM oder einfach nur eine ganz normale Annahme des APT?

Hallo Roffel,

"The CAPM bases the price of stock on the time value of money (risk-free rate of interest (rf)) and the stock's risk, or beta (b) and (rm) which is the overall stock market risk. APT does not regard market performance when it is calculated. Instead, it relates the expected return to fundamental factors. APT is more complicated to calculate compared to CAPM because more factors are involved."

• Similarities between APT and CAPM are that both make use of the same equation to find the rate of return of a security

• However, whereas there are many assumptions made in APT, there are comparatively lesser assumptions in case of CAPM.
