Hallo
Wäre sehr dankbar um Korrektur
John has came in touch with three different world. The reservation world where he grown up. Their life is primitive without any technology and religion plays an important part in their life. They worshipped their good and sacrifice pain. He doesn’t find his fulfilment in this world, because the natives segregated him, based on his mother misbehavior. The Shakespeare which exists in his mind. Every time when he feels unhappy he flees in this world. He also uses this view of the world to express himself. A world that is full of emotion and this world depicts him what real love is.
What he learns from the Shakespeare world he tries to apply in the real life. For example he compare his relation with Lenina with Juliet and Romeo. But Lenina has a total other imagination of love so that his attempt is doomed to failure. The third world is Brave new world, which stands in completely contrast to the Reservation world. Modern technology dominates the life there. People are unable and unwilling to show real emotions. John can’t accept this way of love and claim the right to suffer, to make his own decision, to pray, but it’s impossible to live there according this ideas. You see he can neither find his place in the Reservation world nor in the BNW, therefore he can’t see another rescue than to commit suicide. The ending is very pessimistic without any hope. As a result it provokes us to think what is going false in this world. The reader begins to compare this world with his own and must note that our own life isn’t dissimilar to the BNW. For example our own life is also dominated from technology and a propensity to avoid real emotion and close relationship. Finally the reader raise the question if over own life could end in a similar way. ¨
In Fahrenheit 451 the author chose an optimistic world. After we are confronted with censorship, the mindless life of the citizens, the manipulating methods to avoid real emotion this world is destroyed in a war. As a result a new world can set up according the ideas of the book people. The reader is persuaded that this people are able to build up a better world.
Vielen Dank
