The Prologue tells us about the waiter Ram Mohammed Thomas, who live in Asia's biggest slum called Dharavi that is in the Indian city of Mumbai. He live on the brink of penury and have to fight for every inch of space.
One day he participate in a quiz show called Who Will Win A Billion. The moderator is Prem Kumar, a B-grade actor. Thomas answer all twelve questions correctly and win a billion rupees. But The episode won't air because the company that started the show don't want to pay the money. They think Thomas cheated and arrested him on a police station. There he is interrogated two times and meet the producer of the quiz show Nanda and Johnson, who represents the company NewAge Telemedia that licenses the quiz and Commissioner Sahib.
Johnson offer Commissioner Sahib a lot of money when he find a proof that Thomas cheated. Sahib allow the Inspector in the police station, named Godbole, to torture Thomas until he admit that he cheated.
Godbole tortures him very hard and long.. Thomas knows that it is only a question of time before he do an admittance of guilt.
But suddenly a young woman comes into the room and say that she is Ram Mohammed Thomas's lawyer. The woman be named Smitha take him to her house in Bandra and give him food. he have a copy of the show's DVD footage and want to analyze it. She want to find out how Thomas was able to answered all questions correctly.
Es wäre echt nett von euch wenn ihr mal drüberlesen würdet und sagt ob Fehler. Mir geht es hauptsächlich um grammatikalische Fehler oder Wortfehler, Kommasetzung und Groß-/Kleinschreibung können vernachlässigt werden.

die 3.p.sg. trägt im "simple present" immer ein End-s: he asks, she thinks, who does, etc.

Infinitiv!

Das mit dem Simple Present geht so gar nicht. Das ist Stoff der ersten Wochen im Englisch-Unterricht. Das musst Du unbedingt nacharbeiten! In der dritten Person Singular hat dieses Tempus immer ein "s" am Ende. Das ist in Deinem Text fast durchgängig falsch!!!!
Ausdrucksfehler habe ich nicht korrigiert, solange der Text verständlich war.

Ja, das stimmt das mit dem -s vergesse ich ständig. Da muss ich eindeutig mehr drauf achten.
